When I bought my truck, it looked that truck, rust wise, but yeah I would go for it, a used Vortec engine is not that much money, you probably spend up to $500 at the most, basically you by the end you probably would have spent close to $2000 on that truck in total with a different engine and maintenance, that is a SMOKING deal! Hell, it's even got a power driver's seat, mine didn't come with one. Go for it! Like @Cokeman95 said, ask them $500, if they accept, that's great! If not, oh well, it would still be a decent cheap (awesome) truck.
