Rust at the middle of the doors by the window is never a good sign in my mind. What do the bottom of the doors look like? As a yard truck it'd probably be great, but by the looks of the doors and cab corners it may have a soft-ish frame as well.

Frame was in great shape, still had some factory paint.

The inner door jams are great as well

Me personally, I'd be all over that. But I've been looking for a long bed 3/4 on the cheap. Even if you ended up parting it, you'd do ok. Offer 500 and see what they say.

x2,maybe it's something that's fixable.Might be something the owner doesn't know how to repair or just doesn't want to deal with it.

Dude that thing kick ass! Love that Indigo Metallic Blue and Light Autumnwood Metallic two-tone! I would buy it, looks better than ones in Iowa by a long shot. When I bought my truck, it looked that truck, rust wise, but yeah I would go for it, a used Vortec engine is not that much money, you probably spend up to $500 at the most, basically you by the end you probably would have spent close to $2000 on that truck in total with a different engine and maintenance, that is a SMOKING deal! Hell, it's even got a power driver's seat, mine didn't come with one. Go for it! :D Like @Cokeman95 said, ask them $500, if they accept, that's great! If not, oh well, it would still be a decent cheap (awesome) truck. :waytogo:

Unfortunately the truck was a no go for the owner, better luck next time I guess.
