Tired of fixing lousy engineering.
I'm not so sure that I have a problem, but I'm hoping somebody can explain the strange behavior.
The truck has 212 k, I am the third owner. It always starts and runs just fine.
But sometimes the dash security light is off while I'm driving, sometimes it is on, and sometimes it is flashing. Never shuts the engine off. Never stops me from cranking.
I have no idea if this thing has ever been bypassed or whatever.
Why would security light behave like that?
