A feeling of momentarily hitting a patch of ice when turning, usually at speed, when there's NO ice!
Or...it'll just do this.

All at once. No warning.

Either intermittent or constant over-boosting of the power steering at speed. You'll really feel it on the highway. Feels like the wheel turns way too easily.

Thanks. No issues like that as of right now. I may jut buy the actuator kit line to bypass everything and install it when I get rid of the rag joint setup

Other than cutting n welding up a shaft I don't see any way around this .... Bummer
The splined hole in my jeep shaft is half the diameter of the stock shaft... ( both splined ends are basically the same diameter)

It sounds like you have the wrong Jeep shaft. The one you are after is from early to mid 90s Jeep Cherokee(XJ), NOT the Grands(ZJ), they have different couplers. The shafts are available in aftermarket and from my experience they are comparable to the OEM Jeep shafts, they are about $100 new.

You might have the same shaft that I used. Take a look at post #372 to see the work around that I chose.

hey guys kinda off topic question but I’ve been looking around online and haven’t really found any info. I was just wondering I know some people cut their bump stops off to crank torsian bars more. But me I was thinking about cutting mine off just due to the upper control arms resting on them. I know it’s not the greatest idea I was just wondering if anyone on here has had a worst case scenario with doing something like this

^ That is a really, really bad idea.

If your keys are cranked that high your ride quality is going to be absolute garbage and you're going to wear out front end parts constantly. Raising the front end higher than 2" by cranking the keys is bad news.

Hard pass on hacking the stops off. If you're riding on them now, you're already taking a toll.on your suspension and steering parts as it is. Those stops are there for a reason.

So will this work with my 1999 K1500 special or what ever it’s called? Sorry if this has been answered a ton on here but I don’t have the time for 40 pages. Thanks.
