Notice the top Chevy banner. The tail gate says EFI on it. Maybe a 1988. I'm not sure about the GMC with Sierra on the banner. Did it come like that or not, IDK, I found it on yahoo when doing a search for GM c1500 tailgate banner. funny thing is. there is a pic of my truck on there too. The bottom pic is my truck. The newer truck dont have EFI on them

The original ACDelco banners are discontinued, but like Kenny mentioned LMC Truck has GM licensed reproductions. I've never seen one in person but I have used some other parts branded as "GM Restoration Parts" and I was impressed with the quality.

I have 2 trucks that both have the band, and I want to get rid of them. I’ll try to get them off cleanly if you’re looking.

Oh yeah. I'm sure they're in stock, that's the newest revision of their catalog. Definitely not cheap. If I recall correctly the ACDelco originals were selling for around $300 when they were still in production though, so it's not far off from the original price.

Yeah definitely keen to get one. Do you think they would roll up!
I'm in New Zealand so shipping might be a hassle!

No they won’t roll, the aluminum is a few 1/16” thick. I can get dimensions for a box and get a shipping quote?

That'll be great thanks. Happy to repaint the black lettering if need be but really want the aluminium to be as mint as possible.
Do you know if these were all the same for year to year for these trucks? Mines a 93.
Cheers.

Hi all, just trying to work out if my 93 k1500 originally had a tail gate band!
Is there a RPO code for this or does it just go by model/year?
Any imput with this would be much appreciated.
Cheers

You may find the above link useful. The ordering guide for 1993.

Seems as though maybe the W/T, Indy, 454 SS and Sport trucks might not have the plate, not sure.
