Eh there I'm new to the site. Would like to see your guy's light bar mounts/locations. I'm planning on mounting two 32" bars behind my tahoes grille. Any pointers or other suggestions would be great or just show what you have.

Welcome
I haven't done this but I've seen a couple people with the light bar behind the grill, 2 problems with that, 1 is spacing, depending on you light bars u may need to trim the fins to ensure they fit. 2 is they block air flow, some people have done 1 bar and they're fine but I would be thinking that 2 bars will just be blocking the air flow

Ya the air flow part concerns me a bit as well. I'll have to take a second look.

Looking at ur grill one option is to cut the center section out, where the chevy logo is and place one bar there, I've thought abt doing that. Or cutting out the top and bottom sections and placing them there, of course that'll require some molding, also would be good to swap out the grille to a different style so you dnt have that center cross piece that blocks air flow depending on which way you went.

Ebay they are orical lights kinda expensive for what they are. $170 for 2 sets or $150 for 1 set so I got the 2 in case I mess 1 up. The wiring for the halos is done through a relay which is triggered by the little marker lights in the corner of the grill so the halos would be off when I had my heads lights off and blink on or if I had the heads lights on the halos would be on but blink off the light bar is mounted to a peice of plexiglass that is cut to the same size of the outer lenses

I cut a hole in the grille and put 32" curved led bar in there. had to trim off the cooling fins at middle section on the bar to make room for the hood locking mechanism.

^IMO, that's the best looking way to do it on these trucks (like what 88GMCTruck did), behind the grille, never liked the look putting a light bar where you'd put a Lund MoonVisor.
