Good point Richard about using an IR thermometer.

My crude way of knowing that the CTS is accurate is if my 195 thermostat actually produces a reading on the scan tool of roughly 195.

But the IR thermometer is a great idea

I’ve always heard true duals with mufflers helps get better mpg but then again depending on your local muffler shops that could be 400 dollars. also they say high flow converter give some torque I’m not sure about getting any extra mpg from them. The last thing I thought of I watched a video one time of a guy grinding down the air dams around the injector bowls I’ll see if I can find it and post the link

That mod is stickied here, you also chamfer the edges to help further deshroud those bores.
