well I am new here but not new to trucks. I am 60 years old lived in SC all my life. I grew up on my daddy's car lot working on cars and trucks. it followed me all my life. I am a professional transmission rebuilder, have been for 40+ years. the last real truck I had was a 1985 Silverado I built, its gone now. a couple of weeks ago I took a straight short bed 1993 GMC sierra into my shop that wouldn't run and had a transmission problem. the woman who owned it wouldn't fix it. I offered to buy it, she said she would take 350.00 for it! the loot came out my pocket like lightning! I checked it out and it was out of gas! I put in fuel and it ran like a clock. I pulled the transmission out rebuilt it and bam! an instant ride. that's how I ended up here. I am going to do a paint and interior job so I will need a little advice on parts and things. good to be here, I will post some photos this weekend,,,,,,,,,,,,
