are you supposed to have 265's? my 93's speedo is way off because I didn't read the door sticker before ordering tires

I'm pretty sure 245/75 16 is the stock size for this but I can double check the door.

Im actually about to put 265s on it anyhow to get rid of the Walmart trash that's on it.

Here’s the diagnostic for the speedometer. A 4-mph discrepancy between the speedometer and the speed reported using a scan tool was, apparently, within tolerance.

Double checked, stock on the door is 245/75r16.

Im about to put on some 265/75 or 285/75 though.....

Well it turns out one of the problems is that the truck has undersized tires. I thought these were 245/75 but they are 225/70.

That accounts for some of the inaccuracy in the speedo.

I'm close to putting some new tires on this (265/75) as soon as I can get some time off lol
