Our frames look almost the same, no real rust just dirt an grime, then agian california trucks are mostly rust free. Why semi gloss?
Im just using some spray can bedliner but I've only done the drivers side of the frame. Once the rain is done and gets little bit warmer ill do the other side

The semi gloss is easy to work with imo and I hate flat black and gloss is to flashy for a frame hahaha.
I wish I could take my truck down to just the frame and work from there. Tell me how you like the poly body mounts I need a new body bushing set soon. The rain stopped me here for about 3 days last week

Ohh I probably did one of the dumbest things for a stock 10 bolt rear end but lastnight I installed a mini spool in mine so this will be very interesting

You'll probably have new body mounts before I'm done rebuilding my truck but I usually hear good things. Some say they're a little stiffer but last longer. I went with energy suspension

So I took the truck out for some fun on Friday night. Everything I’ve done so far combined made a night and day difference in the way the truck handle the non graded fire roads out the i was hitting stuff I couldn’t before at the speed I was going (55+) and the truck just soaked it up. The spool is definitely a lot of fun in the dirt I haven’t tried to push it in the street since it’s still a stock geared 10 bolt but all in all well worth it. And to be honest I was expecting the 35s to rub like crazy but honestly it wasn’t that bad and yes I know it needs an alignment really bad but I’m gonna hold off until I get new tires

4l60e down [emoji24] I was climbing the grapevine heading to Barstow for a day trip riding. So I did what I normally do and put the truck in third and just cruised up the hill at 65-70 but there probably about a 20 mph headwind pushing. Everything seemed normal so I just stayed with it. When I made it to the top I was smelling trans fluid so I stopped at a gas station, noticed it was leaking fluid between the converter and trans. I checked the fluid and it was black it wasn’t slipping but I stopped at an orileys and dumped a quart of stop slip in it and continued. On the way home probably about 10 miles from home I only had first and second gear left [emoji23]. So when my taxes come in it’s getting a fresh one from monster transmission

Side note also need some air bags in the back so it won’t rub if I plan on towing anything if I stay on 35s[emoji23]

Do your thing, but Monster transmissions have a bad reputation with a lot of people. Just food for thought. If you haven't already, I'd check into them.
