I've bought a few with questionable paperwork. I get a trip permit in my name and that satisfies our yard.

I have to and even a couple with no title at all just these particular 2 I have I good one haha. As long as they're 12 years or older and aren't drivable. You just sign an affidavit and they take them.

I showed my buddy this thread, and now he's wanting to get into the business of parting and flipping trucks too,

How big of a market would there be for rust free sheet metal up there Taylor? Beds, doors, fenders, hell maybe even cabs and frames.

Beds fenders doors for sure. More gmt800 than gmt400. But I could sell both. I swear 10 different people have seen what I'm doing and started the exact same thing both on here (polar) and around iowa.

Wish I could give you credit for the idea, but I've been parting these trucks for close to ten years. Didn't start posting about it on the interwebs until we got a licensed business going.

Up North here in Canada there's a huge market for boxs, frames and cabs. People bring the boxes up by the truck load (like 20 boxes) and sell them for $1500CAD a piece no problem. Just gotta be rust free.
