Am I correct that this truck has an 8.5" ring gear? Rockauto has a few different rear end ring gear diameters listed. Is any brand seal better than another?

Really? 29 people have read this and no one can confirm what size rear end is in a 1994 K1500 truck?

That's not 29 certified axle experts ignoring you. That's 29 random people clicking on "1994 K1500 Blazer pinion seal" just to find out what the question is. And just like the rest of them, it turns out that I don't have the answer you're looking for right off hand, either.

How about providing a RPO code, or a picture of the diff housing?

If the differential has 10 bolts on the cover, then yes it's the 8.5/8.6" ring gear.

No idea about a '94 K1500 Blazer, but when I had the pinion seal changed on my '97 K1500 Suburban with the 10 bolt I used ACDelco 26033578. No issues.

yeah 8.5. Most likely a 30spline. As for the seals I would go with Dana/Spicer.
