Big whoop, right? Well, I got your attention, anyway!

Sooo, I'm saying hello from beautiful Lowell, MI. I was really happy to find this forum; I'm starting research for a frame off resto of my 1999 K 2500 SLE. I bought it off a guy in Detroit in 2002. It only had 5,200 miles and I wasn't even looking for one-it found me! The guy said he ordered his dream truck, got a Western plow put on it, and promptly turned up pregnant. His Wife did, anyway...Bucket seats and console.

So it's fifteen years later now-I got a Daniels pull plow put on the back as soon as I got it and used it for my Lawn/Snow business for nine years. The last six, it's been my yard pig. It's hurting! I always had it dealer maintained, used synthetic oil, nobod y else ever drove it. The drivetrain is great-57,*** miles. The cab corners still exist!

Got a never rusted southern clone of this with a squashed cab, by chance?

Yea, it snowed here too. (Very south Louisiana) First time sense 2010. My hood was covered when I got up, so much that I could not see my strips. Here is a pic from work a few hours later.

Welcome to the forum! It snowed down here in North Carolina, barely any of it stuck though.

Good looking truck! Is the frame too far gone to strip down, epoxy primer, and paint it?

Welcome to the forum. There is one guy on here selling parts who does complete part outs. I would be very surprised if he could not find you a frame... except he is in California so you would have to get really creative to get a frame to your part of the world. Sounds like a great project!
