Didn't think to grab a picture of it but the wife and I did beauty bark in our flower beds. We had a 7 yard dump trailer over full. I've used the truck to tow a variety of equipment, the heaviest being a Kubota KX040 mini excavator, which with the tilt bed trailer weighed around 10K. We have a 28' bunkhouse travel trailer that we go all over the state with in the summer.

Like 4000# behind my 1500. Kinda gutless being a stock big block on stock tune with stock exhaust. The bigger truck had no bouncing, no porpoising, and zero tail wag. That dually is over 6000 by itself, and the 10k rated trailer is a minimum 2500 I imagine.

That looks like a nightmare to tow

I hooked up a 2000# cargo trailer to my 1993 then tow bar the 1993 to my 2007. Towed fine, just hard to stop in Dallas rush hour when people change lanes in front of you and lays on the brakes. Takes longer to stop like a semi. With his setup he should have trailer brakes to help. Also, you need to make a little wider turns.

Nah....not a nightmare. Not something I do everyday but no bad dreams here. I spent better'n 40 years herding stuff like this around the country...

...so this little triple tow ain't no big thing. This long-hooded Pete was my last rig before I retired. You just gotta know your limits, don't go extra fast and pay attention. As far as the wide swings, this is not nearly as bad as it looks. I could ALMOST go around the Mickie D's drive-thru if there wasn't a low clearance. :) I was u-turning in the bait shop parking lot :) And people say you can't back 'em up??? If you're paying attention, you can. But I try not to get into that situation by planning ahead.

Yep, the travel trailer has 2 axle brakes so there's that. Kept close eye on the trannie temps cause I ain't changed out my rear ratio. Looking for a 4:10/4:11. Only changes I needed to make was put a little more tongue weight on the final unit (the aluminum boat). It wanted to wiggle a little when I got up around 70.

I like my stuff long. :)
