Yes it is possible, I have done the conversion myself. I found an 88-89 model truck, bought new pigtails from a parts store. It’s four 10mm bolts that hold each one in just like the composite ones. Feel free to browse my profile and see better pictures, because this was all I had on my phone.

I grabbed the entire headlight harness out of a 99 Escalade, had the extra pigtails for the high/low along w/ the foglight section in it. being that it was the same yr, the plug @ the bulkhead end was the same. I snipped off the Escalade bulb pigtails & grafted in the pigtails from the 89. then installed a composite headlight grille from a 98.

I found better ones on Amazon. Love the composite with HID's. Then order the lens protectors from LMC. They work on mine.

Low beam is a 4703, do a search on Amazon and ebay, lots of decent hid and led conversions to a sealed beam style housing but uses hid or led bulbs. Some are made of metal and glass lenses. Theres some complete kits that include everything also.

If you need more reassurance, it's super easy. Get the brackets with the wiring (2x black, 1x green, 1x brown/yellow) and just splice them into your existing wiring. I've done it on several trucks, mainly from the W/T front end but the concept is the same with existing composites.

As far as bulbs go, I have stock bulbs but plan is to change that at some point, just not this second.

Thanks for the wonderful help guys. But I think I might pass on this, I have been looking at LED Composite headlights and I am thinking about getting those. I wonder if they do make LED Glass Quads... If they are out there, I will be back on this project then! :D
