My back wall was getting quite cluttered, so I spent a good 10 hours cleaning and organizing this whole section. Don't really have any good before pictures, so just imagine it much worse :D

Anybody still ever hear of warehouses being used for public workshops? Only ask cause I keep seeing postings on Craigs where somebody's asking to rent a spot in a shop for a month or more and i know they're used to be places like that back in the day an with more ppl living in apartments it wouldn't be bad idea.
Also is there a tool talk thread on here? Talk abt what tools are good an bad, I keep breaking tools lately

I have a 24x24two stall with a full depth bench on one side, shelves all across the back, I insulated the ceiling. It's all cinder block walls so once it gets those warm.in the winter it keeps real nice. I got a decent stereo system, and 6 LED shop lights. It's like an operating room light wise.

The problem I have run into finding space such as that is that the building owners are not usually insured for the hazmats involved and most don't want the mess. It's very difficult to find space where the owner will allow automotive work. Oil saturated concrete etc.

I noticed you didn't post any pics of said shop. . .
Yeah I didn't have any current. My lower back shelf is half of AutoZone's fluids section lol. My bench is a lot of just clutter. Won't be bad to clean up. I have lots of parts in there too but the truck fits still. Last winter I backed it right up to the 14 bolt and it fit nice and snug hooked to the battery charger/tender. I have some more stuff to take to storage and a bit of work to do out there on the truck this winter but I have to get my in home projects completed before my baby girl comes in less than a month!

So I've spent the better part all week cleaning out and repairing my shop, built in 74, the walls were full of mice and wiring that's been hacked together, so I ripped out all the drywall and insulation and redid the back wall and part of a side wall with cedar boards I've had laying around. Last wall I just covered in some osb boards. Not all the way done but getting close
Before, kinda, I had already starting tearing drywall out in this pic.
