You do not need the keys. I promise. The factory keys on your truck, whether z71 or not, will allow you to crank until you bottom out the suspension on the rubber stops. Keys with different indexing do nothing but waste your money.

You really need to look at your front end... if you have keys means you have torsion bars, the front will not have springs.... the torsion bars are the springs.....so no way to add a 1.5" spring spacer on the front

Sorry I seen my post and I must of looked at a kit for a different truck. From my side view and a measuring tape my truck sits level so the keys must of been turnt up at least 1" to 1.5" I don't really want to crank them to much so what would you say would be to much on cranking them. Is it possible to throw a 1.5" kit in rear and get another 1.5" out of the torsion bars without killing my front end. As said I'm trying to clear the 37"s I bought until I SAS the truck

That's as far as you want to go cranking keys on these trucks.

Absolutely not. Cranking the keys any higher than you are right now will turn your ride quality to garbage and eat front end parts regularly.

Depends on the torsion keys. I've had 2 trucks where I had enough adjustment could hit max travel on stock keys (as others have said, don't max it out), and another truck where I needed re-indexed torsion keys for more lift (maxed out the bolts with only minor CV angle).

I don't think you're gonna be able to clear 37's without rubbing. Stock control arms will only let you clear about 2" max lift (at the expense of your CV boots and upper ball joints) and an additional 3" with a body lift.

What do your control arms look like right now? Are they just a little past level or do they have a steep angle on them?

From the mounting holes to the tip where he ball joint is there is a good bit of angle.
Approx 2" drop towards ball joint

My cv axles also have a little drop to them

Hmmm...You might be able to squeak another inch out, but any more than that it'll probably accelerate front end wear and ride really rough.
