Hi guys,

I have a 2000 Chevy C3500. It has a 4" spindle lift and I think 2" or maybe 3" blocks in the back. I'm replacing all my steering and suspension at the moment.

I'm struggling to find appropriate shocks for the truck. The bilstein 4600's will fit the front, but I don't think they will fit the back. I also don't believe there are 5100's that fit this truck either. Am I wrong?

What do you guys recommend that fit? I tow a ~5000lb boat, so I need more heavy duty type shocks bt really more concerned about a set that fits appropriately.

Thanks,

John

No one? Maybe I'll just need to remove the blocks to fit regular bilstein 4600's then...

The 5100 should fit. If i remember right the 5100s are for 2-4 inch lift

Thanks, yeah, I was looking at a wrong catalog for Bilstein's. I found the ones that fit the 2-3" lift for the back. Ordered 4 new shocks from summit that should be arriving tomorrow or the next day. Can't wait; all new steering and suspension will be complete.

For anyone else that may be debating...The rancho 9000's kick butt. I have them on level 3 for the freeway and the truck rides a lot smoother. Glad I went this route. I'm not sure how long the adjusting knobs will last but I like em. If you have the C3500, just order the K series for your year because they will not show up.
