Yup they called an I just picked it up. Sensor underneath the passenger seat. I googled it and some ppl apparently have the sensors in the front bumpers go out as well and they cost couple hundred. Any other things abt these gmt900 I should kno @Biggershaft96
Get ready for dash cracks if there not already there. And i don't know if by you're year they've changed them out but the drl's are prone to going out. And the brake switch on the pedal is prone to going out. I've replaced the one on my old 09 Silverado and the wife's Tahoe.
he pretty much nailed it. I guess pinion bearings are semi-common. I had to replace mine at about 85000 miles and saw a couple other people do the same over on tahoeyukonforum. Also a few things i wish i wouldve done different, since it looks like you may be headed in that direction. Get a leveling kit with aftermarket ucas if you can afford to, otherwise they will be like a quarter inch from the bump stops at ride height. Ive heard the afm causes problems for a few but never saw anything first hand. I had the LMG 5.3 and i deleted it, but after that the milage was horrible, although i had 4.10 gears.

Yea I didnt mention that because I thought that had been corrected by that year model. Unsure on that though. I have seen first hand a catastrophic failure due to the afm. A friend from work, who drives his truck like he's 95 years old by the way, had a miss develop at about 80k, about 2k miles later it was a tap and a miss. Tore it down and the cam journals were toast.

I usually turn off the drl right when I get in. Thinking abt getting dash mat, I kno most if the time their ugly but I'd like to keep it in decent shape. I've been trying to read up on any differences between the lmg 5.3 and the lc9 5.3 but not getting really anything on Google. I read some people delete the v8/v4 and some get better gas an some get worse, I haven't noticed it switching unless I watch the mpg and i haven't checked my gears yet.
I haven't seen any level kits with new uca just the lifts but that's something I wouldn't have thought of, thanks for the heads up.
So far I'm starting to like it but feels so weird cause I'm used to my big kinda loud diesel and our other burb is lil rougher ride and this is quiet an smooth and it blends into the parking lots to easy.
Oh it it's making me wonder abt an ls swap into the 94...

Im not sure, but i think tough country, cognito, and rough country all make aftermarket ucas. Cut the muffler out then lol, they sound pretty decent with just the cats and resonator... In v8 mode lol. they sounds "different" in 4cyl mode with an exhaust.

There is a little i button on the dash that changes the odometer display to trans temp, average mpg, etc.. There should be an instant mpg screen that says weather its in 8 or 4 cyl mode.

Ya I figured out most of the buttons and what they do so I usually leave it on the mileage.
Feel dumb askin, never done anything to a newer vehicle, but what's up with having 2 mufflers? Got 1 underneath the truck before the rear axle then a smaller one right after the axle.

The smaller one after the axle is just a resonator. You can see straight through it and doesnt make any difference with the stock muffler on. If you take the muffler off itll tone it down a bit.

Nothing big but put on over 400 miles of dirt roads this weekend out hunting. It definitely needs some more ground clearance, scraped the front valance a couple times and almost got high centered. Other then that it did pretty well and managed 14mpg. Only one pic of the truck.

"Just a hair over 41k miles but we got an bonus warranty for 7 years or 100k miles so up until 141k bumper to bumper excluding glass breaks an chips an light bulbs..."

I don't know if this applies to yours, but I have talked to several people who have purchased aftermarket warranties who thought their 100,000 mile warranty covered them for 100,000 miles from today, but it turned out it was warranty up til the truck hit 100,000 miles total. The sales people didn't let on any differently during the sale. The buyer only found out when they brought their truck in for warranty work at 120,*** miles and they were told, "Oh, your truck was only covered to 100,000 miles, not 100,000 from the date of the sale.

Again, maybe that doesn't apply to yours, I just thought I'd mention something I've seen a couple of times now. Hope you get lots of trouble free driving either way.

Well day 3 of having it and it's already at dealer cuz service air bag light popped up. Not to happy, hopefully just something loose or bad connection
Unfortunately many I see these newer models having way more problems than the older ones which is bullshit because they cost so damn much. Luckily it's under warranty and maybe you can get all the kinks worked out of it before the warranty expires.
