By the way the truck is a year 2000 obs if that matters also wondering if I have to upgrade the master cylinder? And if so does anyone know if it's a direct bolt-on?

I've currently got 1-ton calipers squeezing the thinner 3/4-ton rotors...no issues here. I purchased the 1-ton rotors and hub/bearing assy's, but I was unable to get the 4 (8 total) hub/bearing bolts out to change to the larger rotors...that's on my to-do list. I've got the stock steelies, and the larger calipers fit without issue. No problems with the master-cylinder either.

I would just swap the gmt800 3/4 ton knuckles on to your truck that way you can have a massive duel piston cailpers and rotors that go on the outside of the hub. Not sure if steel rim will fit over them though.

I have a 99 k3500. The dually calipers do have a bigger piston, but the dually rotor is about 1/4 inch thicker.

Is it as easy as on the 1500s? I've not seen it talked about in the HD realm. As badass as my dually brakes seem to feel, there's no reason not to improve upon them when these are spent.
