Just like the question. Which is more "hotrod" ? A big block with a honking carb or ls swap. Most of you guys have seen my truck and if not look in lowered bagged suspension project burnt up. Which would be the way to go to keep flow of my truck. Need to settle my mind on direction.

That's a tough question, but in today's world I'd have to lean towards the LS swap. Simply because when I think "hot rod" I think bang for the buck power, and creating things out of what's readily available. A carbed big block is cool too, but it's not really current technology anymore. Kind of extra work to go backwards in my mind.

I would say an LS but, the latest and greatest LS. An older model LS is not really that "hot rod" any more I think. The LS engine has been taken to another level that a regular LS1 is not that eye catching anymore.

I think a stroked LS with 8 indivdiual carbs or throttle bodies would be insanely "hotrod"

It really depends upon the look that you're going for. Your truck doesn't scream classic Hot Rod to me. If it did I would say big block and a carb would fit it appropriately. An LS would be cool but it is tough to do something different. I recently saw 8 throttle bodies done by flying Sparks Garage on YouTube. It is in a car they call the Dat Zen.
