Hey, I am new to the forum and I have a question. I thought I knew all the different variations of trucks, but right now I have the opportunity to buy a 1990 reg cab 1500 thats been in a barn for years. Very low miles, one owner. BUT...the weird thing about this is that it is a 1500 DUALLY. the owner said no conversion ever, he bought it like this. it's 8 bolt with a 5.7.. I believe. Regular cab..Ive looked all over the internet and only have found conversions so I told this old guy he must have bought it used but he assures me he purchased it new. I am in Canada...I just wanted to find answers on it. When I go back to look at it again I will take pictures...its just weird to me.

They never made a half ton dually in the states. You could find 8 lug 1500 diesels but they are single rear wheel.
