I do not have the axle flipped I used belltech lowering leafs.
yours is like mine then... which was the opposite of how the instructions were. They bank on the fact that 99% of everyone else just does a simple flip kit. My shims had to be installed the opposite of the instructions as well. You want the angle to point up not down... when its under load its supposed to rotate down and make a straight path for the driveshaft.

Thanks for the input, I have them in there like that now. I put my driveshaft back on before I took a measurement at the rear diff yoke so I cant get an accurate measurement there. Out of curiosity though, do you know what the angle is on your driveshaft? My driveshaft between diff and carrier bearing is sitting at between 0*-1*.

I don't have a angle gauge setup. I literally watched the driveshaft angle under accel and did a 4* angle to tip it up so it appeared straight under load. Non scientific at all I know but before it would tip down, it's pretty dang straight now. I'm thinking about traction bars or bolt on leaf helpers to try and eliminate any axle wrap to help keep it even more solid.

Did you put a spacer under your transmission too? I put one under the carrier bearing but not the transmission. Just curious.

Can anyone answer what you have to do to get rid of the soft bouncy front end... Like having blown out shocks but have brand new toxic shocks installed

Backing Plate to Knuckle Gasket? Does it exist? Is the air gap there for cooling, or just more speed?(Joke) I know the bigger rigs have them. There was nothing there that I can recall at disassembly. Reassembled with a belltech spindle and I see an eighth inch gap (between the king pin base and the plate/cover) for crap to enter and destroy my seal. RA & local parts house say they have nothing. I found an AC 15699959, but it does not read to be anything that should go on this truck and does not look to be eighth inch thick. I'll make one if need be, but maybe you pros have ran into this.

Never mind; I found them on my parts truck. They do exist.

My stupid question... Tried researching and found so many conflicting answers. I am new to lowered trucks but was wondering what do I have to do to get 15s to work on a 3/4 drop? Rcsb with the kit in this picture possibly
