Buddy and I sourced parts from the junkyard to put fogs on his 01 gmc. (Couldn't find z71 style ended up with the rectangle ones) He had to have his trucks computer programmed to acknowledge the fog light switch and work properly. Don't know if that's the same for your truck or not.

Nah just wired mine to the low beams with a relay and all that jazz. I sourced the valence from a z71 suburban that I bought the bumper off of and ordered the fog lights and pig tails

Got a set of long tube headers I've had for a while installed finally. Whole process cost me $500 since I was missing some hardware and a couple bolts broke
