I finally made "progess" with the build! Got a driveshaft made. Now that my Sidekick project is driving, this will be my next focus. I plan on taking some vacation time and knocking a bunch of stuff out in September.

This project has kind of been put on the back burner. I have so many other things going on and other minor projects i always convince myself to finish up first. (See my other vehicle build thread). At the moment i have 11 vehicles, i need to finish up the short term things first and I hope to get going on it again over the summer. This is the first project I really wanted to do right, which involves not butchering and hacking things like most of my other cheap/quick/fun projects, so i want to wait till im in the right mindset to get back to it. Plus i know i need to buy lots more parts still, and i don't want to just try and buy the cheapest things out there. i want to be able to save up and do it right. I mean, with a solid weekend working on it i could probably have it running, but we'll see.

Yes yes, i have badly neglected this project. I plan on getting back to it this spring/summer. I was at a new local junkyard last week and found this, a Hurst shifter and boot for an NV3500! Picked it up for $20. Turns out it bolts right up to the base of the Tremec TKO600! Looks much cooler than what i had in there, i think ill paint the boot from piece black though.

Finally got around to cleaning and painting the radiator support. This came from the 92 parts truck i got the frame from. Its in great shape, so i just wire brushed and painted it. Rad hoses and hopefully the right oil cooler lines are on their way.

Made some progress. Radiator support is in, radiator is in, radiator hoses and heater hoses are on, factory oil cooler lines are on. Clutch pedal is half in. Got some new calipers ready to go. One downside, I managed to drop a stupid fitting for the clutch slave cylinder into the bellhousing. Hoping to borrow a borescope from work and get it out easily.
