No kidding! I do not want that thing falling off again!

It's been super hot here, I was in Newport OR this past weekend and then come home to massive heat. It was 100 yesterday and 98 right now!

Oh the other thing I forgot to mention, I had to drain my AC pulling the hemi and have yet to get it recharged, so I get to roll around with the windows down. It's fun!

I should post a minor update.

I still haven't picked the truck up, and my car trailer still has the brown 6.5 from my old project sitting on it, so I need to unload that before I can go get this thing. I did however get a flatbed in exchange for some computer work, no photos of it on my phone but it's good enough for a start (certainly no bradford built or anything though) so I can have something on the back rather than bare frame.

I've been super busy lately, but I will get the crew cab before the snow sets!

Another little update, I was at the junkyard today and I needed to find some rims to get this thing to roll, and everything I could find was 10 lug 16" rims, which would be fine but it's impossible for those to fit over the brake rotor and calipers on the front of the truck. However I'm just going to grab two of the ford rims to put on the back and deal with finding 19.5" rims when the truck is closer to the completed stage.

How's that dodge doin with the new tone ring? Got some time before the snow, it's all the fires going on that would worry me.
This is gunna be a looonnggg project but if done right that thing will be awesome. I would've loved to have it.

It's doing great! I still have a valve cover leak I'm fighting and is still leaking a little oil but that is all that is left at this point. It runs and drives fine!

And no kidding! The smoke over here from the fire in Quincy has been terrible these past few days. The smoke from that fire is 100x worse than the Long Valley Fire a few weeks ago that was in the same valley as Susanville.

And it sure will be. If things work out and me and my girlfriend move somewhere for her college in a year that may be another dent in the completion of this project. But I guess we will see lol

Every once in a while I still do that, I'm never going to buy one because I have mine, but I like to see what is out there! I have seen another crew cab 3500HD once on CL.
