Didn't you give me crap for buying manual mirrors? Lol

I dont think so lol
I just watched this video for the first time. I noticed that your park lamps on blinker on is slightly different. on mine the mirror light is constantly on but gets brighter with the signal. Yours turns off and on

Just curious, do these seem fairly bright using the trailer conversion box? There isn't too much resistance in the circuit that causes the lights to be too dim is there?

Yea i know old thread dig lol
I never measured it but I imagine there is resistance on it for park light mode an full power for signal. They were plenty bright enough, even during the day

Ok thanks. Saw it had several bad reviews on Amazon and one of them mentioned on their vehicle the lights were dim. Granted I'm thinking they are using them in a different configuration. I do see they have another version of the same box that's has a ground hookup as well. I may give that one a shot.

Also does anyone know if you can pop the led turn signal strips from these mirrors and remove them in case one ever goes bad?

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm looking to do the new style 2015 tow mirrors on my 96. Couldn't you just wire the front turn signal on the mirror to the front running lights? So when you turn on the lights the ones on the mirror would come on and when you use your signal they would blink with them also?

Old thread bump, has anyone had any backfeeding issues after following this diagram?
When I have the parking lights on and hit one side blinker, the other side blinks very faintly.
If the parking lights are off I don't have this problem.
I've replaced all the diodes and resistor and verified it's wired exactly the same as the first post diagram.
No other lights are backfeeding only the mirror lights.

Does it do it with headlights on? Does your grill corner marker do it too? Wondering if it isn't more of a power draw issue than backfeeding.
