I've just recently had this issue start up with my truck where it will start, but only for about a second or two before it dies.
It was running fine with no issues the day before and the next morning when i went to start it had this problem. I replaced the fuel filter, but the problem persists. I checked the relay for the fuel pump and it's fine.
My next assumption is the fuel pump itself is bad. I wanted to check first that there isn't something I might be missing or overlooking before I commit to dropping my gas tank.
