New spider. MPI

Going to replace the spider. Please look at what is under the upper intake and comment.

I have replaced everything, fuel pump went out at 170,000 full tune up at 165,000. The truck runs good. No codes no check engine light. I have a small stumblecat idle and on get 13MPG 10 or less towing.

Should I spray the ports and plenum down with cleaner? Vacuum out anything?

I will probably have it back together before any replies.

I plugged all the intake runners and cleaned as good as I could.

I still have a little stumble at idle while in gear.

Now I have a P1385 cam sensor code.

Yours looks better than mine did. I didn't do a whole lot of cleaning, just wiped up what i could with rag and around the upper gasket area. it looked about like this when i put it back and it fired up and ran fine after a few runs round the streets. I probably need to put some sea foam through this but its running good.

I should have taken a couple pics of mine when i had it out. I took the lower manifold and had it cleaned. So nice and shiny now. Putting it all back together now.
The hose on the driver side that comes from behind the head doesnt want to screw into the manifold now.
