I really didn't suspect it as I thought there was usually signs of it failing - but this one just stopped suddenly. I've got a USA made one coming with the harness and heat plate. They wanted $700 over here, $230 delivered from the States, but I just have to wait a while.

I guess it's done alright considering the PMD was still in its original location.

Quick question: Do Aussie trucks have to have that turn signal light on the fender by the mirror? I have never seen that on a USA truck before. Ever. :D

The front and rear turn signals from 1980 onwards have to be amber. I think it is from 1990 onwards you have to have one on each front fender between the wheel arch and side view mirror is to be amber also. Some states insist on changing the windscreen wipers also.
2013 and newer gave to have absolute mirror image conversion which can be expensive e.g 2015 mustang snake cost $45,000AUD just to convert to right hand drive. Ford is now importing RHD Mustangs which makes it a bit cheaper.
Most states will allow a vehicle to stay left hand drive if its more than 30 years old.
Importing a vehicle into Australia has very strict guidelines.

Hi guys,
Finally back on the road. PMD sorted and running well. Wife is onside for the stack exhaust so might start on that soon. Also got a train horn and tank ready to install - can't wait.
