96 centurion 2500 turbo diesel 4x4 standerd bed

well....i got hit coming home from work two days ago!
i was getting onto the highway and right before the onramp some guy tried to beat a red light and came up on me at 50-60 mph and tried to pass me as i was getting on ramp, he nailed my driver mirror, then counter steered the wrong way and almost flipped right in front of me! i pulled over pissed, thought mirror was gone, checked it and it was flipped all the way forward, folded back and checked, ZERO damage to mirro housing or truck! the spot mirror popped off and was in road, not broken! i checked on the guy and his truck, his mirror was cracked (ford) haha, and big bent/scratch down his body from my spot mirror! everyone was okay and i fet bad he wrecked his truck, it was his fault so i let him go, he was a nice guy, went to get mirror and someone ran it over! dang it, so i gotta get a spot mirror....
so them cheap ebay knock off mirrors are badass! so surprised nothing broke! will be getting a mirror if anyone needs parts for one,,,,,unless someone has one with a good spot mirror they want to send to me!

Texas has the worst drivers in the country, seriously. It is not us Texans, it is everyone moving here. Great for my business, but be careful. One of my employees cars got totaled yesterday in rain. People are complete idiots when it rains or snows. Glad you are ok. -Rob

Yup...ive been telling the guys at work that. Texas has some of the worst drivers I have ever seen!

I grew up in the northern Texas are in Bridgeport/Decatur and i went to Fort Worth often lol. i really hope after i get out of the Army i can come back down to home

Haven't done anything to it
...went and got alignment and my upper ball joints are shot already, feel like I just did them. And got a bad p/s leak, pitched right front brake line(pulls left braking, and when I did Betts I was going to swap to top mount but trusted Chevy design....bad idea, keep having issues with pass Bart pos side. Still have serp belt stretch issue, and now a broken spot mirror.
Other than that running good. Cruising at 85 mph everyday. Sucks not having somewhere to work on it.

Glad to hear you came out mostly unscathed. Not necessarily promoting these guys, but they advertise as having the replacement glass for the new style mirrors. They may be able to help you out.

oh sweet, i almost got a new mirror head a few days ago, ill check them out...

do not come to texas without a good woman....they are all trashy ****** here so far, i made it 3 months so far, you can get some from a new girl every-night if you choose, but so far zero worth keeping around. my finding a wife by moving to texas plan is blowing up in my face.....

just ordered from them, saved 100 from buying full mirror, thanks dude, thats been driving me nuts and making me feel like i was in a pos .on top of almost ran over a few bad driving texans. hahaha

I hope the mirror works out for you. I came across them and ordered some stuff, but it won't be here till tomorrow.

Now I just need to get you on the hunt for some torsion bar relocators!! My lift is nearly done!
