I am currently taking a solid modeling class and had the idea to create an adapter to be able to use a 2014 up Chevy Spark bow tie in place of the factory 94-00 bowties.

The one in my grille fits okay but I'm wanting to make it look more factory by filling in the gaps.

I'm going to take measurements from the insert in the grille and measurements from the Spark bowtie and draw it up in Solidworks and 3D print it.
Here's the bowtie as of now

Finally! An honest-to-goodness use for a Chevy Spark.
I know, right! It was the closest sized bowtie on the lot to my factory one. The salesmen were looking at me funny when I went to each model on the lot, holding up my bowtie and comparing to the new ones on different cars! [emoji23]

Man, that is some professional quality modeling! Love your truck btw, looks badass!

I love how you put that newer Z71 emblem in the front, I am desperately wanting to do that to my truck, but haven't figured out a way to make a bracket for it.

It should have two studs on the back and two little bars to hold it on

I made an aluminum bracket that used double sided 3m tape to fasten to the grille and the badge, along with the pin holes to secure it more. It's worked for about 3 years or so that it's been on there. Even survived a front end impact that damaged the old grille last March.

Oh wow, mine never came with studs, only the 3M tape and that was it.

I will have to get another one for the front and do this. Thanks man! :)
