Okay so now that i have your attention. No not hot smokey burnout donuts or homer simpson donuts. we are talking exhaust manifold donut gaskets. how do i know which ones to buy when you look online there are like 10 different ones and in there its like 8 different diameters.

Also since i am building a new y pipe, are there any 3 bolt flange snouts like you can find for headers to build off of?

On my '95, I had some trouble getting the factory sized donuts on the headers, so I got the ones for 96 and up, and flipped them. Sealed well and still holding.

You have a '92 with the 350 right? Rock Auto lists these Fel-Pros that look pretty nice.

EDIT - Never mind, you're looking for the flange gaskets I think, I read wrong. Maybe just take the truck up to a parts store and see if they'll let you test fit a few?

Would be insanely loud and asking for a ticket even more than I'm asking now ha. I just can't figure out why there are so many different diameter donuts for the same thing. Was casting and quality assurance so far out that the specs can change by up to a 1/4 inch diameter? Does anyone know what the 3 bolt hole flange measurements are? Speedway motors sells basically a exhaust starter piece for the manifold n.a. k

The tolerance on the casting shouldnt be that far out. IIRC mine were always a nice slip fit with the factory manifolds. Use a pair of calipers and measure the inside of your manifold, then take your flange that your going to build your exhaust with to the parts store and find the one that fits best and has the correct outside measurement to fit into the manifold. Sorry i cant be more help but thats about all i would know to do.

There are two sizes (for some reason) for the donut gaskets - 2 1/8 and 2 3/32, and they are not interchangeable. To this day I still can't remember which one I needed, but if you have the old one you can take it up to the parts store and have it matched. Otherwise, buy both and see which one fits and return the other. Or just do what I did lol
