Quick question, how did you plumb your steam line @Dgonz
I never did mine. From what I have been told, drill and tap on water pump and run the steam line that way. Another way, if you are using the OBS radiator, there is a small port you can connect the steam to that's above the radiator hose opening

Hey, @Dgonz , turns out my truck sounds like it has a nasty cam just like yours did. Sounded like i had a nasty cam, so i changed the plugs. Plugs looked like they had been in there the entire life of the engine, changed them out and it ran a little better. Still sounded like a misfire though. So i had the engine running and went around to each injector and disconnected it to see if there was a change. Nothing changed on number 8. So i have determined i have a fuel injector issue on number 8. What is the best way to fix it, fuel injector cleaner? wipe it down? Not sure if i have a place that has 2000's trucks for me to pick some injectors off of it around me.

Another way, which is the way I did it, but time consuming, is to get an extra LS injector plug and Make sure it has long enough wires. I would have the injector off, spray a little carb cleaner in it, then hook up one wire to negative of battery terminal and start tapping the positive wire. Its like you're giving it the same type of signal an injector gets when it's working. You will be there for a while doing all 8 injectors, but if your only doing one, it's not that bad. I did not see anything spray out the first few times, then eventually it got unclogged and a bunch of dirt came out. I put a shop rag on the exit of the injector to see what came out. The process is very similar to this video :

Just put them back on. The truck fires on all 8 now. Anyways, my next issue is that the truck seems really sluggish in drive. Almost like it's in third gear or something

Did you tell the tuner what trans you were using? Do u know if that trans is good? Check the trans fluid, it maybe low. Similar thing happened to me. I mated my '94 trans to the 5.3 and it only shifted 1st and 2nd, 3rd clutches we're gone. I never drove the truck when I got it, because the 4.3 V6 was bad. I dropped in a newer trans and it was all good. It just sucked that I had to drop the trans in a driveway.

I'm pretty sure the trans is good. Is there a power wire or anything for these trans? I heard a 4l60e will go into limp mode without power.

Just have to make sure the pins on the trans plug in the LS harness is good and no wires are splices or cut. Yes, these trans goes into limp mode. You would have to research a little more about it. Try searching in LS1truck.com forums
