anyone have pics of what they did with their transcrossmember. i was under the truck yesterday looking at it and i just can't see any good or easy way of doing it to get the bolt heads out from under the frame to lay out.

Low profile socket head cap screw?

Or just weld it in a way that can easily be ground off if need be

Just bolt it in, lay it out and drive around til the bolt heads are almost flush. J/k sorry I don't have any experience in lowering these trucks or really any trucks for that matter.

I saw on here where someone basically recessed the bolt heads in by cutting, rising the bolt holes, then re-welding that piece of metal just around the bolt holes. When you looked at it the bolt heads were just recessed enough not to touch the ground when laid out. I can try to find the pics here in a little bit.

I weld a small plate to both ends of the crossmember and bolt it to the sides of the frame, have done this many times, works great and is strong.

It's a bad pic, but here you can see the plates that I weld on to both ends of the trans crossmember.
