first off,i just wanted to say thanks for adding me,I'm Dylan and it's nice to meet y'all! Stumbled across this site looking for truck parts and it's my best interweb find to date lol

I have 2 1991 Chevy trucks, both are rcsb, only difference is one is obviously a fleetside, the other is a stepside..I'm kinda stuck right now,I'm not sure which bed I like better, the fleetside looks good, but I love the hips on the stepside lol. Eventually one truck will be bagged, the other will be static with a built 5.3,kind of a sleeper build..but my question here is,is it harder to bag the stepside opposed to the fleetside? would there be much inner fender trimming involved to run 22s on the stepside? Any advice would be awesome and greatly appreciated, reccomendations and pictures would be cool too..just go easy on the newbie :Big Laugh:

Bill has an extensive build thread on here that has lots of good info on it. I dont know how to attach threads or I'd just share it with you. 98nightmare and it's "My 98 stepside project". It began life as a stepside that he bagged, then did a traditional body drop on, and is not switching to fleetside. He did some awesome work on his stepside bed though. Check it out.

You can lay flat on frame with 22's and a stepside bed with no problem, but if you want a BD with 22's and a decent sidewall tire then you have to modify the bedsides.

A 265/35/22 fits perfect while laying frame, and it is 29.3 tall, just barely taller than the stock 235/75/15's
