Saw this on another forum and thought it was neat. Post some of your past rides that led you to where you are today.

Lol I'll bite

First ride was a 97 jeep wrangler 4.0 5spd
Lost most if my pics of it from when I had it but this is after I sold it and all that changed was he added the diamond plating on it

Next up my first gmt400 98 k1500 4in lift with 33s and a 350 with some goodies under the hood

Next up my 97 f350 7.3 auto the day I got it

This thing is my baby and has came along way since I got it a year and a half ago. It now is a very fast 7.3 with a 5spd :devilfinger:

Next up a 1990 Chevy celebrity station wagon :rotflmao:

This was a fun little beater for awhile. Loudest vehicle I've ever heard and could roast the tires like none other but we went puddle jumping one day and turns out wagons don't swim and hydro locked it. Got it drained out and running good enough to derby this summer:evillol:

Next up is my current gmt400 98 k1500 bought bone stock with 84k on it

5 months later were at about 97k on it

And I don't suppose we can forget the little 94 pos ranger with a 3.0 4x4 and a 5spd that I bought needing a clutch to flip

And there was a 95 f350 powerstroke that donated the 5spd to my other truck. No pics of when it arrived on my yard just when it left

Alright I have really only two trucks that have been dailies but I'll include the others.

Bought this on mother's day 2014, I was 17 and it was my first vehicle ever. 1998 K1500 ECSB 5.7 that was all stock minus airbags added in the rear. 165k with mild rod knock, paid $2200. Needed $600 in catalytic converters to pass smog. Owned it two years and a buddy rear ended it and bent the frame so it was totaled. Had 199k on it once it was ruined. The engine still knocked pretty bad but it continued to drive and I was not easy on this truck by any means. Literally drove it like I stole it but it continued to run. I did fix stuff when they broke, ie. wheel hubs, entire front end, steering box, pinion bearings, etc.

Next was a 1994 K1500 ECSB 6.5TD that I rescued out of a junkyard and drove around a bit until I sold it. Bought it back, replaced the blown engine, and sold it again recently. I bought this at 18.

After the 98 K1500 was totaled I bought the 2003 Ram 2500 from my father and he went out to purchase a brand new 2016 CCSB cummins. It's got a Hemi, it's fast, and all my friends joke that it is my family truck (due to four doors) even though I'm a long way away from that. Bought this at 18 as well. I really like this truck, super reliable and has treated me well.

Next is my 1989 K2500 ECLB 5.7, bought this at 19, replaced the engine, new engine has rod knock so now it sits looking like a christmas tree until I get around to working on it. Midterm project that I haven't dicked with much.

Then... I acquired my big bad c3500HD. I wanted something gnarly. No real reason behind this truck I just wanted it for the neat/rare factor.

I think it is safe to say I have a GMT400 addiction even though the only other brand vehicle I have ever owned has been the Dodge!

'79 Chevy Scottsdale. It was originally a 5.7 Diesel, but when I bought it for $1,000 when I was 15 it had a blown up old 350 in it. I dropped a new 350 in it and drove it all through high school. I still have it and it's a pretty solid body truck.

My first "nice" truck I bought at 19, '97 S10 4.3 5 speed. It would eat that one tire off through 3rd gear lol

1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. This thing was a beast on and off road. It would launch hard as hell off the line. I blew the front diff, rear diff, and transmission within about 15,000 miles before I sold it. lol

1998 GMC Sonoma ZR2. Bought it in 2005 with 38,000 miles on it and put 200,000 HARD miles on it before I sold it. I had that truck from one side of the country to another, wheeled it everywhere from Moab to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

2004 F350 King Ranch. Piece of dog **** 6.0. If it wasn't for that motor, that would have been one of my favorite vehicles I've owned.

1988 F350 Centurion Conversion. I bought this off eBay cheap and had it repainted. Primary purpose was to use for the truck camper but ended up selling it. Good God it was a gas hog, but a cool truck.

1996 Geo Track 4 door. I bought this from the original owner with 265,000 miles on it. It still looked, felt and drove like brand new. Picked it up for $600, cleaned it up, fixed an oil leak and sold it for $2,500.

1998 Pontiac Bonneville. Bought this for $1,500 for a beater car when I was in school. Drove it for a year, sold it for $2,500. Probably one of my favorite vehicles I've owned.

1999 GMC Yukon. I picked this up dirt cheap with 66,000 miles. Played with it and drove it for 2 years and sold it for about double what I paid.

2003 GMC Sonoma ZR2. Bought this a couple years ago with 54,000 miles on it thinking I wanted another ZR2 but after driving S-Series pickups for about 11 years altogether, I was bored of it. Just sold it last week.

2017 Silverado High Country L5P. We added this to the garage a few months ago, but it really doesn't get driven a whole lot.

My current daily. 2005 GMC Sierra SLT. Bought it a few weeks ago with less than 30,000 original miles, still has the factory tires on it and loaded with every option. I think this may be my favorite truck I've ever owned.
