Scrapped what was left of the Caddy today, made a whopping $84 :D Spent some time this evening hacking what I wanted out of the front subframe, and removing the power steering and A/C parts from the engine.

Not that I need it or anything, but I bought this: a 2002 Silverado 4.3 5spd 2wd with 219k. Runs and drives nice, underside crusty, but the main reason was that it was $350. Not sure if I'll just clean it up and sell it once I get the title, or do something with it.

For what it is, it drives awesome. I popped it on the lift at work and the frame is decent, and the fuel/brake lines have already been replaced. Worst thing is both front shocks are blown and the e brake doesn't work, but thats no biggie. Anyways, my wife ended up taking it on a long test drive when I got home and she loves it, so i'll end up registering it for her. She used to have an 89 gmt400 that she learned to drive stick on, and this reminds her of it. She won't drive it a whole lot because she has the kids with her most of the time, but she's very excited to be able to drive this when she's by herself. She's so excited she even went out and took pictures of it :D
