I tried three different MPFI setups to get one that worked. First Sorenson, then Standard, then Delphi. In that order. I did not try a Delco because it was not an available to me option at the time. I'd stay away from anything but Delphi, because of what I observed on my truck. With the way the L31 is so picky about ignition parts, I've concluded it's the same for fuel system parts.

IiRC, the Wynjammer spiders call for certain walbro pumps, which are hotter than stock.

My advice, this is not a part you can cheap out on.

What was the issues you had with the other brands if you don't mind explaining so others and myself can be more informed on this topic.

I Bought the fj504 years ago and the bracket underneath so the o ring doesnt leak at the intake . Lube that seal much easier. The yukon l31 also got a cam , distributor , at the same time for rough idle was poppets stuck at idle.
CAm was 14097395 and under$200 delivered. Runs great 5 years now.

Maybe a longshot but is there an easy way to check for an mpfi upgrade short of taking the upper intake off and looking? I'd like to know if mine has been replaced but don't want to risk ruining the gasket seal just for curiosity. Thanks.

You can take air intake tube off the throttle body. Open up the throttle plate all the way and peek in with a flashlight. The original spider will be just little tubes.
