Hello all I'm new to this group.

I am working on a vortec to TPI swap. I rebuilt my L31 motor and thought I would get rid of the spider fuel system. I've always loved the TPI and figured some rewiring and a few little things like fuel lines and I'm all sit. I wanted to use the vortec heads that I just had reworked so I purchased the adapter style lower intake for TPI to vortec heads. So far, the motor is in the truck and I tried firing it without the front accessories on yet. I just wanted to hear it run for a minute before moving forward. So I rewired the injectors and lengthened the other sensors as needed. I have spark, fuel pressure (46 psi) compression and good pulse at the injectors with a test light. But she will not fire! I haven't tried starting fluid yet but would be my last resort. I checked and double checked the wiring. It's all soldered and heat shrinked so I'm positive it's not that. The wires were in great shape and the colors were very vibrant so I'm certain it's notth issue. The only thing I can think of is the injectors I got from eBay. They say they are direct replacements for TPI but I wonder if it's an Omh issue. Has anyone run into an isseu like this? I ran a hot lead from battery + to + side of the injector and used a ground wire to bump the -side of the injector. I can hear it working and I can flood the cylinder with fuel if I do it alot. And my injector test light blinks when I crank it over..But she's still not getting fuel.. please help!!

YOu may test the resistance of the fuel injectors see if they are about the same as stock injectors. Low impedance injectors use up to 6 amps to drive them. Low impedance injectors are 1.5 to 4 ohms .
HIgh impedance are 8-16 ohms and use 1.5 amps or so.
Is oil pressure switch hooked up for power transfer to fuel pump.
I Thoght of swapping intakes ls swap is better. Good luck
