Wow. Never heard of it so I had to look it up. I would guess it is already bypassed if you have an aftermarket stereo but I really have no idea. Looking forward to reading the responses in this thread.

When you install an aftermarket radio properly in the 88-94 trucks using the factory connectors and aftermarket adapter harnesses, this box under the dash becomes a paperweight. All plugs going into this box get unplugged and plugged into the adapter harnesses, or removed (one plug was for a tape deck or equalizer, if equipped).
