Has anyone ever switch tbi to carb and 4l80e to th400 and stripped the wiring harness of all ecm things transmission wiring and gauges and done all custom wiring?

Its been done a lot. I think there are some threads on doing the swap on here. Try searching carb swap. There are also some videos on you tube.

Just like building a hot rod.... check out "painless" wiring... they offer a ton of wiring harness options and configurations.
