Headlight Upgrade

Guys-96 Tahoe, have my grill off- may as well replace lights.. Can someone tell me a good, simple replacement product that I can use? Never did relays, etc, so if I need to do that, I'll have someone I pay and I'll watch for next time- plastic, glass, been reading all the posts and get a little confusing- thanks!!

Spyder 5012388 if you want glass lenses, Anzo 111004 if you want plastic. You definitely want to do the relays. @gmachinz can make you a custom plug and play harness if you want to pay someone to do the wiring, he does great work.

I'll contact him, thanks... For the GLASS headlights, do they come complete w bulbs? If not, bulb choice? Last, where are these best purchased?

I recommend purchasing on Amazon, that way if there's any issue you can send them back for replacement, no questions asked. Good prices, too.

For bulbs I recommend Sylvania Xtravision. Cheap and work great, with no light-robbing blue coating on the glass. The Spyders do not come with bulbs.

In the picture that Amazon shows, there are bulbs in there, the set I got did NOT have bulbs, all I'm saying is don't let the picture make you think bulbs are included.

and even if they did come with bulbs.....throw em out and buy high performance bulbs from the the "big name", quality companies. you can do this in stages, but i recommend the complete system with harness.......our headlights need all the help they can get. this is a safety system and not the place you want to buy cheap **** to replace aging non-serviceable OEM parts.

Yea man, been super busy lately and trying to catch up on bills. Havent had time to finish aiming them, but there still doing great. Need to get a dremel so I can open up the grill cut out a little bit. Put a cb radio in the truck and 4 ft firestik mounted to the tool box for our offroad trips.

The spyder glass housings are fantastic, got mine from amazon, link is on the first page. Relay harness is definately needed a great upgrade, you can buy one or build your own. Spyders dont come with bulbs, I also recommend reusing your oem brackets. Ive got osram and volsa combo in mine and love it, theres several combos mentioned in this thread and shovelbills thread that work great as well.
