Don't think they are, the way we try to adjust them is to sit on the road that is at the end of the circle drive and see where the beam sits, first blocking one side then the other. Once we get what we like, we might go for a drive and try to see where the top part of the beam hit opposing traffic, sometimes that's easy and sometimes it's not. As a last resort we'll try to find a parking lot and see where the beam sits on the side of a vehicle. I have always tried to get the passenger beam to shine right down the lane straight in front of the vehicle, and the left or driver side to favor just to the passenger side a little bit. Haven't gotten around to doing a little better check yet.

every time i pull the Spyders out i have to re-aim.....i'm convinced the mounting brackets are pure crap......

but i did get the +100's in the lows and the HIR's in the highs.......it's quite the difference from what i can see so far.

this is a pretty darn good capture of the difference in the highs from the front.

i'm convinced i have to tri that tab....even though they go in fine i don't think the filament is in the correct orientation to the reflector.....i can see the the way the hot spot forms on my door is not the same as it was........and no, i didn't get pictures of that, next time i pull it all apart.

i tried to crop the pic i have, but it doesn't show it well......what a stupid fu@kin way to hold the bulb.

it HAS to be trimmed so all three tabs can hit the stupid fu@kin screws at the proper orientation.....if they don't there won't be the same pressure on the "seat"......i was distracted by what was happening at the house and i rushed to put it back together so i could put out the "fire" that was brewing from a few sources at the same time.........woosaaa

I have seen a few cars sporting these additions to the hood, mini-vans, and jeeps too.

Too cheap to buy proper replacement headlamp housings and bulbs.
