I'm possibley going to purchase this truck next weekend and it's missing some pinstriping. I would like to replace the pinstripes that are missing . That's the only picture I have right at the moment I would like to replace the stripes with OEM looking pinstripes but I can't find any online. Does anyone no were I can buy some? Thanks.

They are likely discontinued. I am on my third two-tone truck and I've had both dealers and body shops try to tell me that the pinstriping is aftermarket-it is not. The dealer or a really good body shop has to look them up specific to your vin. Then it is off to seeing if they can find a dealer somewhere in the country that has that dusty box on the shelf still. Otherwise eBay is your best bet, or a custom vinyl shop, or custom paintwork.

Keep in mind that all of the different parts to the truck have different part nos for the pinstripes-tailgate is one piece, driver side cab is one piece, driver side door is one piece, etc. what I did for when I do my paintwork is I found a few pieces for a bedside and I will cut them down for the doors, cab, and tailgate. The front fenders are different though. They taper down towards the front of the vehicle, take a closer look and you will see what I mean.

I wish you the best of luck, I was barely able to get all my pinstripe pieces 2-3 years ago.

Your best bet would be a body shop with a skilled painter. They can replicate the factory pinstripes. Not going to be cheap, though.

Get an eraser and remove all factory pinstriping and go with the closest aftermarket all new all around. Unless you are planning on fixing that rusty cab corner and repainting the whole truck it's not worth the money and if you repaint the whole truck the pinstriping has to come off anyways. Going to look better and be a lot cheaper than having a guy throw down new paint against 20 year stickers.

 I wasn't suggesting that he have someone just paint in the missing sections, I assumed he would first remove all the factory stripes and re-do them all. Hence why I said "It won't be cheap."

I agree though.

You could buy 2 rolls of tape stripe in their respective widths and colors and do the whole truck, 3m scotch cal, cal-stripe. not the 20 ft rolls in auto zone. The stuff can be had.

I don;t think a body shop will be much help as they do not usually stock pin stripping. You would need to go to an automotive paint store. And yes, you will not find OEM anymore for these years. However, a good paint rep might be able to find a dusty roll sitting on a shelf somewhere. I wouldn't really get my hopes up. Just best to throw some other stuff on there that is close to the original.

Most probably don't, but my point was they can just paint the stripes on. If you hunt around a little you'll almost certainly find a shop that'll do it. The place I got the estimate from on my Suburban had to think on it for a minute, but they asked the head painter in back and he said he could do it, no problem. All depends on their level of expertise.
