I'll stop ******* up your thread now. lol
Your fine man. Actually glad you posted because I can ask how you wired or what leds you used for the cup holders. I actually saw your thread after I picked up the console and I actually threw the radio controls back into the Yukon I was working on lol. I've been kicking myself all week for not taking them and making a pocket like you did.

I bought some prewired 3mm led lights off Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007O1WZVK

I grounded the the lights to the metal frame in the console and ran a wire up to the dash and tapped into the illumination wire on one of my dash switches and that was it.

Don't make the mistake I did though, the leds should face the front of the truck not the rear otherwise they'll play havoc with your eyes at night. One test run of that nonsense was enough. Lol

Mine are hard wired but I'm planning to add a connector to make removing the top of the console easier.

I'm contemplating adding this so I have a light in the console when I open it. It's dark in there!

Did you grab the air deflector for the console from the donor vehicle? Otherwise your floor vents are going to blow directly inside your console.

It looks a little rough right now. But I have one more hole to epoxy up in the lid for the cup holders. I'll sand it down later this week to see where I need to build it up. I have been debating about covering the back in vinyl once I get the shape to it. If not I'll get it as smooth as I can and hopefully dye it the same blue as my interior. I won't be putting any power outlets in the back. I rarely have anyone sit in the back of my Tahoe anyhow.

I think it's getting better. Got to get the epoxy built up in a few spots give it a descent sanding and then go buy the dye.

Back of the console is ready, just to get the sides and top done.

Trying to convince my wife this would be a great family vehicle and possibly my next truck. It's for sale in Mississippi, only 5500$. Definitely on my list one day to have a lowered dually.
