I have a 92 c3500 dually crew cab long bed, I just put on a djm 5/7 drop. Not a huge fan of the adjustable rear pinion angle, I always used belltech before where the saddle just did the pinion angle for me. I have a slight vibration under accel. currently i have one shim at the carrier bearing and i think i need to go down with the pinion but im out of bolt on the back of the adjuster for the pinion so i cant go down anymore.

Can someone give me a crash course on setting this pinion angle correctly. If at all possible id like to do the measuring with it up on my works lift, after i cant fit under this thing to do it on the ground.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I set mine up with 1-2 degrees of negative pinion or just slightly pointing down so that under load it is straight on, if you are making 500+hp then that needs to be around 4 degrees of negative pinion angle. I use an angle finder from Home Depot on the rear end yoke, assuming that it is flat, if not then make sure the angle finder is parallel to the yoke.
