I got my 2' body lift on it looks good lol. I have a question.. Do you guys think if i had a engine hoist and stuck it through the door i could pull the cab off. I had 4 handyman jacks on the 4x4 under the cab but i decided to stop they are to wobbly.

How strong is your ceiling? Could you run a couple sleepers across the joists and pull up with rope and pulleys?

2x4 bottom cord trusses with a clip in the middle... I dunno if i would trust it plus i would burger up my ceiling it has metal on it.

ive seen alot of pics of guys doing it with a cherry picker but the cab is stripped.

I got the cab off.... it was a pita. But it can be done with a engine hoist

Yes I opened the door and stuck the hoist in. I wrapped 3 straps around the bottom but I didn't have the center of gravity balanced, so I put some 4x4s down angled the cab and pretty much slid it down to the ground.. it was a real b*.

Knocked the rear end out. Going to strip and paint go through breaks new front and rear seals for rear end.

new leaf spring bushings and install on new frame hopefully soon. Does any one know what the deal is on friction modifier and if I need it and what weight oil for diff are you guys using?
