Lots of little stuff done, I popped the hood from my 2500 on just so it's out of the way, makes it look even more complete now. I still plan on eventually doing a custom cowl hood of some sort, but I like it this way too. Also took it off of the dollies so I can see it at the actual height, looks much better. Popped the gauge cluster in just to see how it will look, once done should be sharp. The interior picture I took totally looks like it could have come from the brochure from 1993 :D

Unfortunately it turns out he bezel won't fit without significant modification. It's the same width, but its shorter, so the lower screw holes don't line up and would look silly. To make it right, i'd have to swap out the whole dash, but that's not happening. I do eventually want to swap out for the black bezel with black headlight switch and heater controls out of an 88 or 89, but I think there's a possibility i'd have to swap a couple wires around to make it work.

I've really gotten off track lately with this project. I have most of the parts to get it running and back together, its just a matter of getting it done. Lately, the only time I spend out in the barn is every other Saturday night with my buddies, but that usually involves getting heavily intoxicated, and I don't feel like trying to take the time and focus on the work needed, like gauge wiring, running fuel and brake lines, engine wiring, etc. I'd rather focus on that sober :drunk: My other project is more of a rat rod style type build so if something is hacked, i'm perfectly fine with it. That one is also more or less in the disassembly stage so that's easy enough to do while drinking. Now that the weather is getting better i'll be out there more and get back on track!
