did you pick up on the lens crap? LOL

I THINK so... Not positive. From what I can tell the ECE markings on the lamps (04HR) almost make them seem like they're marked as high beam driving lights. However the SAE markings (F) indicate forward facing fog lamps.

How wrong am I?

i'm still tossing the idea around for fender flares....with the black grill guard i'm thinkin the black factory flare wouldn't be too out of place...and may even enhance the complete "look"............but i just saw this gents truck pop up in the feed thing...it looks pretty damn good to my eye.
IMO, if you're planning on keeping the wheel and tire setup you have now, I wouldn't recommend getting fender flares. It looks wrong if the fender sticks out significantly further than the wheels and tires.

i kinda thought they get "zip" screwed onto the lip.....and double sided tape ON the fender.....hmmm
That's how mine are installed, not sure if there is a different way...

Ok, so I tried to follow the thread and got lost along the way. Can you post your final lense and light confirmation for both the high and low? Looking for the versions that are still available.

Thanks!

ok...one thing before i go out to clean the "wake of destruction" that is the garage......

i've been pondering the poor quality beam pattern of the fog lights that came with the LMC bumper. it bothered me the pattern wasn't very wide, as a fog light SHOULD be.....i spoke of it after i wired them up and posted the photo of the beam pattern down that alley.

well...........it was right under my nose and i missed it the first time....all the reading, "absorbing" of the information must have caused a short circuit betwixt my two brain cells. as of 5 minutes ago i figured out just WHY it didn't look like a fog pattern.

i'm going to leave this picture here to see if anyone else can figure it out. there's enough evidence in this photo to make the determination......i ASSUMED one thing without double checking. i was also not armed with the information at the time, the same information i had to re-learn prior to taking on this endeavor.....OR i just got confused(big surprise there, huh) with what i actually SAW.

i believe Michael will get it straight away as i have an idea as to the extent of his knowledge. i'm sure other's will as well.....i just want this to be a lesson to ALL of us BEFORE we go buying lights and haphazardly go about installing them.

let see just who's paying attention.....i know i am, but it took a while.

You must be registered for see images attach

i may be able to rectify this.....i'm not going to say anything else until there are some responses to this post.

EDIT: SEE FOLLOWING POSTS TO FIND OUT MY MISTAKE.....wow, brain damage is real

E11 is code for 'lime-juicer', IE: wrong side of road driving in the UK. Isn't HR for High Beam?

Who knows where the lights are made, these marks may not mean anything at all, after all, I have seen counterfeit items from China supposedly with CE, UL and CSA approval, that would never pass any of the tests required.

A mark is literally worthless without something to back it up, and even then, less than scrupulous companies forge certification documents as well. Caveat Emptor!

BINGO

your not....when i looked at it this morning i didn't scrouch down to read the entire lens.....and i jumped to the conclusion it was a high beam by the ECE stamp.....

well Mike.....based on the first impressions of the beam pattern i was confused by the lack of width....then i attributed it not aiming them...then the rest is history.

i know LMC isn't the do all and end all of quality, but remember these are $60 lights......who knows is right!

based on both the "certification stamps" wtf is it?

it's whatever the beam pattern says it is i guess.....i hope they can make a decent fog light, i'd hate to have them eyeballs on my bumper for no reason.
