ok, good on the blinding side of things....but i would want a longer reaching beam than that on low. did you "HID up" the high beam too?

did you try a stand-alone harness and bulbs before resorting to HID's...or just plug em in? have you seen the thread i started regarding the Spyders?

.....and all the other assorted lighting related information contained therein. lots of information was shared by some very knowledgeable folks.....i know i learned a lot....thread is still going on and is about 45 pages longer than i originally figured on, LOL.

The whole reason I got into HIDs was because my buddy had them on his F150 (different bulb type but they fit into the oem housing) but was getting rid of them because the one connector kept getting corroded so I wired them in with a relay, 10 gauge wire, and an in line fuse using the original wiring as a trigger for the relay. They were alot better than the halogens so I kept them and when I bought the new housing the bulbs didn't fit so I ordered replacement bulbs and used them. And yes, I put hids in the high beams too, I only drive with the lows on though.

I've read a bunch of threads on here about HIDs back when i couldnt figure out why i could barelly see at night with halogens and which is actually why I did the original pass in the opposite direction after installing the HID'S. And I would definitely like something with more dinstance but I'm satisfied with the HID's compared to the other bulbs I've tried.

No, I don't think I've seen the thread you started on the Spyders, I'll check it out though. What's the thread name?
